Are there any other reasons behind why you should invest in a plier stapler? Yes, there are three main reasons why you will want to get this tool, as discussed below:
They offer more leverage
With a plier stapler, you are required to squeeze instead of press down. The squeezing action makes it possible for you to control the desired impact during the stapling action, which is something that might not be possible with the office stapler.
You get more access
Most plier staplers are built for use in a variety of places. This is mainly attributed to the all-metal construction, and the chrome finish. These properties prevent it from rusting, thus making it possible for you to using the plier stapler in any weather and conditions.
They offer better security
The mechanisms utilized in the stapling on materials are safer when a plier stapler is used. Your fingers are less exposed to the staplers, and this minimizes the chances of injury.

The plier stapler design sees to it that you grip it, instead of pressing down. With the grip mechanism, you can drive staplers through quite several materials, without wasting energy as would be the case if you simply used a regular stapler.
Buyer’s Guide
What should you look for when purchasing plier staples? Below are some of the things that you should not forget to consider:
1. The size of the staples that you intend to use
Different plier staplers can handle different staple sizes; thus, you should be sure to confirm that you get a compatible tool. The 0.25” staple is the most common type of staple and most plier staplers can accommodate it. You should, however, get a stapler that can handle around 3 staple size options, to guarantee versatility.
2. The type of material you intend to staple
If you simply intend to staple few sheets of paper, then a lightweight plier stapler will do. If you, however, intend to stapler tough materials such as fabric and plastic, then you will need a heavy-duty plier stapler.
Conclusion
Regardless of the magnitude of the stapling tasks at hand, you will get something for yourself in the “10 best plier staplers” list presented above. Be sure to purchase a plier stapler that will accommodate all your needs, and that has several staple size options so that you are not forced to shop for another plier stapler. All the best in finding and purchasing your tool.
John Samore III says
That is a great article and you make some very good points. Under your Buyer’s Guide point 1, I agree with you to look for a stapler that takes more than one size. I deal alot in Arrow products but are you aware of any other plier stapler manufacturer that takes a 3/8″ stapler. I am not and personally have a customer not thrilled with the P35 but I have no other options to give him.
